Privacy Policy

ZeroIn respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we process and why.

1. Data We Collect

• A random player identifier (profileId) generated on your device.
• The username and avatar you choose.
• Your game progress, scores, trophies, and friends list.
• Usage and diagnostic data — such as app events, sessions, and crash reports — collected through the analytics and crash-reporting services described in Section 4.
• Advertising and device identifiers used to deliver and measure ads, as described in Sections 4 and 5.

We do not collect personal data such as your name, email address, precise location, or contacts.

2. Why We Process Data

We process this data to provide online rooms, friend requests, leaderboards, and to keep your game progress in sync across devices. Your player identifier is stored on our server solely to enable these features.

3. Notifications

With your permission, we show local notifications when your lives are full or when a friend sends you a game invite. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app settings or your system settings.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase Analytics — collects app usage data (such as sessions, screens viewed, and in-app events like completing a game or making a purchase) together with device and app information, to help us understand how ZeroIn is used and improve it. See Firebase Privacy and how Google uses data.
• Google Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports and diagnostic information (such as device state and stack traces) so we can find and fix stability issues.
• Google AdMob — serves ads, including rewarded ads for extra lives. AdMob may use advertising identifiers and device-level data to deliver and measure ads, and — where you consent — to personalize them. See how AdMob uses data.
• App Store & Google Play — process in-app purchases. We never receive or store your payment details.

5. Advertising & Your Consent

Advertising and analytics may involve device identifiers, such as Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or Google's Advertising ID.

• iOS App Tracking Transparency: on Apple devices we ask for your permission before using the advertising identifier for personalized ads. You can change this at any time in your device's Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
• Users in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland: we present a consent choice (through Google's User Messaging Platform) before ads and related processing. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time from the app's settings under “Privacy options.”
• If you do not consent, you may still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as the service is provided. Using the "Delete Account" option in the app permanently removes your username, friendships, requests, invites, and leaderboard record from both our server and your device.

7. Children's Privacy

The app does not require personal data and is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page.
